This beautiful new (2002) 5 star resort is located on the tip of the
island, and has 140 luxurious units. The small (5 mile) island is only 6
miles from the excitement of Cancun via an inexpensive 20 minute public
ferry. From your private balcony, enjoy breathtaking, panoramic vistas
of the clear water and coral reefs of the Caribbean. The views from the
Spanish-inspired villas not only encompass the picturesque, rocky side
of the island, with it's naturally formed "pool", but also extend to the
gentler side with it's pristine, shallow water and the incredibly white
sandy beaches. Snorkle right off the beach in one of the world's largest
coral reefs. Cross a footbridge to access the property, or simply wade
from the "mainland" - it is only a short distance.
Both the 1 bedroom and spacious studio units easily accommodate 4
people, and include king or queen bedding, as well as a sofa bed. You
can prepare meals in your fully equipped kitchenette or purchase an
All-Inclusive meal plan. With a two pools (including a children's pool),
full service spa and fitness center, Kid's Club, two restaurants, swim
up pool bar, lobby bar, and a gift shop, you never have to leave this
exquisite property. However, the picturesque fishing village "downtown"
is a short 10 minute walk, and filled with authentic and inexpensive
restaurants and shops.
The beach has tiki huts, hammocks, and chaise lounges to help you
relax, or you can arrange for parasailing, jet-skis, or diving trips
nearby. Rent bicycles or a golf cart to explore the island. Take
advantage of the free concierge service to arrange tours to Mayan ruins,
bullfights, deep sea fishing, diving and snorkeling trips, golfing, or
car rentals. Cancun, with its nightlife, shopping, restaurants, and
entertainment is just a short ferry ride away. While in Cancun, enjoy
the amenities of two sister resorts in the heart of the hotel zone.
