Close to where you want to go Access to Krakow's pleasures and sights could
not be easier. "Boguslawskiego", the name of our street, means "blessed" in
Polish, and you are blessed here with an equally short walk (4 mins) to all
the main places you will want to visit in Krakow: the Old City with its
museums, churches and squares; the old Jewish district of Kazimierz; and the
fabulous Renaissance castle (Wawel).
There are numerous tram and bus routes within two minutes walk in either direction. And the train and bus station is ten minutes walk. Restaurants of every variety are just inside the old city walls and also in Kazimiersz (both are within 400 metres) but also nearer to home you'll find the tasty vegetarian restaurant "Vega" on the next block, and several other good establishments. Across the street is a friendly and useful grocery store which is great for fresh rolls for breakfast, and sells everything you want to cook for the kitchen. Location is everything, and is always what is commented on by guests. With Kazimierz, home to countless cozy bars and an atmosphere unto itself, also only 10 minutes walk there's never any need to even consider transport! There is all of Krakow within a stone's throw including not only the culture, but also the necessary supermarket, 24 hour convenience store, internet cafe, train station, bus stops: everything. Many guests were wondering where the catch is. So close, at this price and such a wonderful place? Well, there is no catch, it IS a great, light, warm apartment and it really is affordable even for couples. Take advantage - Krakow is going through an explosion of interest as well as having just joined Europe and is fast becoming the hot-spot of Europe. European City of Culture 2000, it offers restaurants, bars, cafes, a castle, museums, night-life, the largest and stunning main square in Europe and all within an aesthetic competitive with Prague. Constantly and rapidly developing, new attractions appear every year, which makes it a town that few people visit only once. Krakow is also only 20 minutes from Wieliczka (famous salt mines), 90 minutes from Oswieciem (Aushwitz) and 2 hours from the Tatra mountains (hiking, ski-ing). |

A family home.... Families with children will be happy here. The owners (who often bring their own young children here out of season) have designed things to work from a family perspective. A baby's cot is supplied, and there is ample space for buggies, prams etc. A further spare child's bed is available on request. The safe off-street courtyard allows children to play outdoors while remaining under a parent's eye. Within two minutes walk are the gardens of the Plenty, the perfect place to run around. Babysitting can be arranged for you on request. Your stay in Klasika... Our aim is that the stress is taken out of your stay. A holiday is for relaxation and so we will do all we can to assure that there you can concentrate on having a break. You will be met either at the flat, or at the airport (additional charge) by someone who speaks your language and who will show you how everything works and can help you to plan your stay in the City. The flat will already be stocked with milk bread and fruit (more shopping can be done on request) and tea coffee jam and butter are in the cupboards. You'll have your own pair of slippers in the hall. You will find guide books, information and maps on the shelves to help you work out what to do. We'll even provide some stamped postcards you can send to your friends without worrying about queueing in the post office ! Your host Simon will be able to help you at this first meeting with any special requirements you might have, e.g., babysitting, booking tickets etc. He will be available on the phone, and will also visit you during your stay, to check that everything is working, and give you any advice you might need to enjoy your stay in Poland. At the end of your stay, he will collect your keys and help with your departure e.g., by ordering taxi to airport etc. Other than this, you will be left to happily enjoy your very comfortable stay in Krakow in peace. in London, but are in Krakow very regularly, and keep a personal involvement
with this apartment. Which is why Boguslawskiego will make you feel more
like being in your own family home, than staying in a serviced flat. We
