MILLION DOLLAR VIEWS AT INCREDIBLE PRICES! Island Oasis with 3 swimming pools, hot tub and fountains... daily, weekly or by the month. We fell in love with this two bedroom condo the first time we saw it. So much so that we bought another the same day! They’re in the newly renovated Maravilla Resort Condominiums at 9520 Seawall Blvd. Galveston, TX. For those of you unfamiliar with Galveston, the seawall was built at the turn of the century to protect the island from hurricane storm surges. At seven miles long it is purported to be the longest continuous sidewalk in the world. (Does the Great Wall of China have a "sidewalk" on top?;-) Seawall Boulevard is a four lane street that runs the entire seven miles along the top of the wall and sidewalk. The wide sidewalk is a favorite of locals and visitors alike for running, skating, biking, riding a rented pedal surrey and, of course, those long walks down the beach. The Maravilla Resort Condos are across the street from the seawall and the best beaches are just a short walk in either direction. It is still legal to drive on some of the areas beaches. |

The condos are located on the west end of the seawall near the golf course, water park and slides, the Galveston Fishing Pier, miniature golf, bungee jump, Scholes Airport, the Lone Star Flight Museum and within walking distance of "west end shopping". Public transportation is available from buses and trolleys to horse drawn carriages. The Strand and cruise ship docks are a short drive into the historical district. The condos are close to everything but far enough west down the seawall to avoid the hustle and bustle of the "tourist zone". Schlitterbahn is coming to Galveston Island!! And it's just minutes away. The newest member of the Schlitterbahn family is the first convertible water park with closeable sections for indoor/outdoor, year-round fun. Opening early Spring 2006. No, Galveston is not Cancun and the Gulf of Mexico is not the Carribean but you and your family will not want for entertainment, great seafood and a comfortable, two bedroom condo on Galveston. E-mail us for a calendar of Galveston events. The fun just never stops! Our clean, fresh condo includes marble floors, a fully equipped sparkling kitchen, TVs, VCRs/DVDs, king, queen and sofa beds. It is tastefully furnished with a beach and tropical motif. All your linen needs are furnished as well. There are washer and dryer facilties on each floor. All you need bring is your bathing suit, food and drink. Many of the Maravilla's units are owner occupied and not in the "rental pools" that cause other similar properties to have that "run down, lived in, hotell look". We like to share ours with family and friends so this is our island home so to speak and I think you'll find the unit's appointments and cleanliness reflect that feeling. You'd be hard pressed to find more "bang for your buck" than the Maravilla Resort Condominiums. AND DID I MENTION THE VIEWS FROM THE HUGE THIRD FLOOR BALCONIES? The lush, tropical grounds include three great swimming pools, huge secluded hot tub, fountains and covered parking. We live near The Woodlands,TX and can be reached anytime by phone or e-mail. We enjoy the Maravilla Resort Condominiums so much that we bought a
slightly larger condo ten units back from the Seawall. It too has
wonderful views. ** Please note that there is some construction renovation in progress thanks to our friend hurricane IKE however this condo is at the front of the complex and is not hampered by the construction. The elevators ARE inoperable at this time but we hope to have at least one replaced in a few months. |
