Krakow's old town is a UNESCO registered site in a region that boasts four UNESCO sites within a short distance of each other, namely, The old town, Auschwitz, the salt mines and kalwaria sanctuary.

Not surprisingly, Krakow is become a more an more popular tourist destination with its wealth of culture and unquestionable beauty.
For those looking for eating out and nightlife, Krakow perhaps has the best 'going out' scene in Poland with hundreds of quality restaurants and cafes and numerous underground tavern bars which are frequented by the 160,000 or so Krakow Student population making sure fun can be found on all nights of the week.
