It is located on a Florentine Hill in panoramic position, in the municipality of Vinci (where Leonardo was born) just 3 km from the town.

The charming country house, standing on a top of a hill with a superb view and a peaceful landscape, is surrounded by olive trees, and it is only 25 min far from Florence city centre, in an ideal position to reach Pisa, San Gimignano and Siena, Lucca, Pistoia, San Gemignano as well.

The house (more than 1000 m²) is very spacious and has been divided into 7 large and elegant apartments for the guests, which can be joined to accommodate even large groups and accommodate till 40 people for special meeting, wedding day or large family reunions. Each apartment is at least 100 m².
 

The property has been completely restructured in full respect of the Tuscan architectural style, with the handsome faηade in bare stone, the door and window frames in grey sandstone, the roof ventilated with modern technology but made using the ancient tiles, the interior floors in classic red terracotta, the ceilings with great beams in chestnut, oak and cypress, or beams in antique terracotta, the plaster walls tinted in pale hues, the stone stairways, and the original frescoes that decorate some of the ceilings.

Guests have a 6 x 12 meter pool at their complete disposal in panoramic position amid olive trees equipped with sunbeds and umbrellas open from May to September. Every apartment is equipped with air conditioning and independent heating. Community area with an ancient restructured oven, grill and a zone equipped with tables and benches for outdoor enjoyment. It is adjoined by a charming Flowered garden. The Garden Panoramic arcade provides amazing views on the country hills.

All our apartments are really large up to 100 m²to 150 m² and we're proud of our choice giving a real comfortable and relaxing holiday to our guests

Finally we've just realized a large panoramic arcade equipped with wooden table and chairs to allow our guests magical moments enjoying amazing Tuscan landscape while they're reading or talking. Grill- barbecue and ancient oven equipped with tables and benches, where guests can cook and enjoy their time. There is a Ping Pong table and slide for children. You will also find a Laundry room with washing machine.

From Podere Jana you can reach FIRENZE in about 20 -25 min by car or train; We are in a perfect position ,for visiting the other Tuscan cities of arts Pisa, Pistoia, Lucca, Terme di Montecatini, San Gimignano, Certaldo, Siena......and many other medieval towns of the Chianti area all reachable in less than an hour.

Please, consider we're in the countryside on a Florence hill, but just 5 km from Empoli railway station and its frequent trains (one every 15-20 min) to the centre of Florence.
Finally we're only about 2 hours and half by train from Rome .
