With privacy, and an incredible view, the convenience of fabulous excursions within an hour's drive to Vancouver, British Columbia, sparkling Seattle, -or a ferry ride to the San Juan Islands, (the jewels of the West Coast) you can choose to linger at this cottage or take daily jaunts.

The Alpine Meadows of the North Cascades and Mount Baker have drive-to views to behold or meadows to walk. Seasoned hikers can leave at 8:30 in the morning and hike to spellbinding vista on well marked trails. The North cascade Visitor Center is close by.

The house and yard are charming, immaculate and while nicely furnished, provide a comfortable, settle in and relax atmosphere. Fully furnished with the added interest of over 200 books, lots of reading materials, maps, local information, a guitar, 30 plus videos, DVD's and CD's from movies to kayak instruction and interesting documentaries.

Guest Book is full of gushing appreciation for hospitality and the warmth and coziness of the house.

A pretty little kitchen to fix a light dinner and dine outside overlooking the water. Best yet is when the summer sky is clear and stars are ablaze and Mr. Moon makes his way across the sky casting moon dust over the bay.

Take a cup of hot coffee to the beach on an summer early morning or a blanket and a quart of Ben and Jerry's plus a little glass of Port to the beach, build a little fire and wonder how you got so lucky as to have a moment like this!
