Through 4 easy steps:
  1. Complete the online registration form or send us a hard copy of the registration form.
  2. We will develop you webpage for you and send you information about how to end us your pictures and payment.
  3. We post your pictures within 3 business days of receipt.
  4. You send us any updates to your listing as required and we will make the changes on your webpage for you.
How long will it take for my Independent Vacation Rentals ad to appear on the website?
We will post you listing within 3 business days (often sooner) from the time we receive your information. 
Pictures also posted within 3 business days (again, often sooner) from the time we receive them.
 
Can I change the layout of my ad?

Why can I not subscribe to your site on a 'Commission' basis?

Photos should be are either in .jpg (preferable) or .gif format.  We will resize them and optimize them for the web to allow users with slower modems to download you pad faster.
 

How can I pay for my listing?

You can pay on-line by credit card or by mailing us a Personal Check or Money Order made out to "Independent Vacation Rentals".
Payments must be received within 7 days from the day posted.  Payments can be mailed to:

Can I make changes to my advertisement?
Absolutely. You can update your ad information whenever you like. 
Just e-mail us with the details you want to update or use our Listing Update Form and we'll do all the work for you from there.
 
Can I update my listing page directly myself?
No, however we will be pleased to do so free of charge.
 
How do I receive the e-mail inquiries?
Visitors to the site who are interested in booking your property click on the e-mail link on your advertisement.
 
What can I do to get the maximum rentals from my advertising on Independent Vacation Rentals?

We take care of most of this however there are certain things you can do to maximize your bookings.

  • Take some time to write your ad. Effective advertisements have strong headlines and are well written.  Renters should be able to visualize what the property will look like, how it is laid out and what they can do from your property to enjoy their vacation.

  • Keep your rental rates clear and simple.
  • Reply quickly to inquiries.
