Adding good photos to your web page ad is one of most important things you can do to increase your number of inquiries and bookings.  We strongly recommend that all members use their option to include their three free photos on their webpage.  Words alone only go so far.  Ads with photos tend to receive more inquiries than ads without photos. 

Will you accept digital photos?

We will digital photos that are in JPG or .JPEG format.  If you know how to send files via e-mail, you can e-mail them to us through the "ATTACH" or "ATTACHMENT" feature in your email program to info@indvr.com.  If you want to send them through regular mail, copy them to a disk labeled with your name, address and listing number (if we have already published you webpage) and mail it to the address below. The pictures should be between 400 X 300 to 640 X 480 pixels in size.

Please ensure that you include your listing number when you send us your photos.  For example, if you are listing #183, make sure that the subject line includes #183 somewhere in it.  This will help us make sure that your photos are properly matched with your listing.  

Please only save one photo on each file, i.e., we can not accept collages.

Do you charge anything to scan regular photos for me?

We will scan your photos that you took yourself with your camera for your webpage for free.  However, we need original photos to have clear images on your site.

To ensure that the printing on the back of the photo does not leave an imprint on the front, please press VERY lightly using a ball point pen.  Also, please wait until the ink is dry before stacking the photos to prevent the ink from smearing the photo below it in the stack.

NOTE:  We are unable to scan, postcards, brochures, slides, negatives, magazines photos, photocopies or those printed from a computer printer.  Photocopies will not transfer to a clear image.  Brochures, postcards and magazines are protected by copyright laws and can not be copied.

Can I have photos returned to me?

Yes if you include a self-addressed envelope when you submit your photos.  Residents outside of Canada please include $2 US for return postage.

Do you need vertical photos or landscape photos?

Landscape photos (wider than they are high) will look better on your webpage.  If you absolutely need to include your favorite vertical photo, it will be placed as the last photo on your webpage.

If you decide to have a second photos only page highlighting your property, both vertical and landscape photos can be used on the second page. 

Additional Photos

Three individual images are provided with in your main listing page and currently two free additional photos are included at the bottom of the listing. However, we can add up to a total of 15 photos.  Viewers will be able to see the additional photos by clicking on the "See More Property Photos" link under the related information links section OR by scrolling down your listing. Additional photos are $5 each. 

How do you determine the order of the listings on the location index page?

The listings in each city or location are ranked according to the number of photos attached to the listing.  The more photos attached, the higher the ranked position in the list. 

What if I want to replace a photo?

There is no charge to replace your photos.

Where do I send my photos?

Please print and include a photo submission form with all photos sent by regular mail..
